1, basic design

2, steel beam design

Rectangular beam is the most common bending member, which is often used in design, but the utilization rate of material is very low. First, the material stress near the neutralization axis is lower; Second, the bending moment of the beam varies along the length of the beam. Due to the low stress in most sections of the beam, the material can not be used well, and the material utilization rate can be improved only when the axis is stressed. Therefore, the design can use plane truss instead of rectangular beam, plane truss is equivalent to the hollowed out beam, the redundant materials in the beam out, so that both economic, weight can be reduced, but also can be developed for space grid, the utilization rate of materials will be greatly improved.

3, column net design

Column net layout is to determine the span and spacing of the column, in the case of technological requirements allow, you can choose the small span of the portal frame is more economic. Under normal circumstances, the optimal distance between gantry rigid frame is 6 meters to 9 meters, when there is a large tonnage crane, the economic column distance is generally 7 meters to 9 meters, not more than 9 meters, when more than 9 meters, roof purlin, crane beam and wall frame system with steel will increase correspondingly, the cost is not economic. So whether the layout of column net is reasonable has great influence on the cost of steel structure building.
