The anticorrosion treatment of steel structure should consider the following two points

The anti-rust base treatment of steel structure workshop should be qualified and conform to the specific requirements of the design drawings, such as alkyd enamel, epoxy zn-rich paint, chlorinated polyethylene, zinc plating and so on.

In general, steel structure with protective layer is not rust or rust slowly, the life of some buildings can reach hundreds of years, and when some conditions, steel structure has amazing corrosion speed, in a few years or less time can cause the destruction of the building. The corrosion process is generally as follows: the protective layer of steel structure produces micro-cracks and holes, the protective layer peels off, and harmful media invades; Corrosion of steel structure; Serious corrosion of steel structure; The performance of steel structure is reduced, the structure or component is damaged. Its anticorrosion treatment can generally be considered from two aspects:

1. Take measures according to the corrosion level:

The corrosion of building steel structure can be divided into four levels: strong, medium, weak and non-existent. Under the condition of strong corrosion (large amount of CO2, SiO2, H2S industrial environment), the material corrosion speed is fast, and the surface isolation protection must be adopted for the parts and components. In the medium corrosion condition, the material has a certain corrosion, can be used to improve the weight of the component, or simple surface protection; Under the condition of weak corrosion, the corrosion of materials is slow, but some measures should be taken. Under the condition of no corrosion, the material rust is very slow or there is no obvious rust trace, and protective measures can not be taken for the structural parts.

2. Key link processing:

Base treatment: the anti-corrosion base treatment of steel structure should be qualified, and should meet the specific requirements of the design drawings, such as the use of alkyd enamel, epoxy zn-rich paint, chlorosulfonated polyethylene, galvanized and so on.

Temperature and humidity: the ambient temperature and relative humidity should meet the requirements of the product, the ambient temperature should be 5-38℃, the relative humidity should not be more than 85%, the surface dew should not be coated. Shall not be exposed to rain within 4h after painting.

Coating thickness: should meet the design requirements, spray coating material used on the same day, and do not add diluent at will. Coating performance: to consider the impact of various harmful media on steel structure, choose suitable for the working environment of spraying coating, in order to ensure the quality of anti-corrosion.
