Today the author is going to introduce the relevant content of steel structure workshop, interested friends to understand it together.

1. The power

Steel structure The strength index of steel is determined by elasticity, yield and tension. The design is based on the yield strength of steel. High yield strength can reduce structure weight, save steel and reduce cost. Tensile strength is the stress that steel can withstand before it is destroyed. At this time, the structure loses its performance due to large plastic deformation, but the large deformation of the structure can not meet the requirements of resistance to rare earthquakes.

2. The plasticity

Steel structure The plasticity of steel usually refers to the apparent plastic deformation without fracture after the stress exceeds the yield point. The reduction of elongation and area is the main index to measure the plastic deformation ability of steel.

3. Cold bending performance

The cold bending property of steel is a measure of the crack resistance of steel when it is bent at room temperature to produce plastic deformation. The cold bending behavior of steel is a kind of cold bending test, which is used to test the bending behavior of steel with specified bending degree.

4. Impact toughness

The impact toughness of steel structure refers to the ability of steel to absorb mechanical kinetic energy under impact load during impact. Measuring the impact resistance of steel to impact loads is a mechanical property that may lead to brittle fracture due to low temperature and stress concentration. The impact toughness index of steel is usually obtained by impact test of standard specimens.

5. Welding performance

Steel structure The weldability of steel refers to the welding joint with good performance under welding process conditions. Weldability can be divided into two kinds: weldability of welding process and weldability of service performance. Weldability in the welding process refers to the fact that the weld and the metal near the weld are not sensitive to thermal cracks or cooling during the welding process and therefore do not have cooling shrinkage cracks. Good weldability means that under certain welding process conditions, the welding metal and the nearby base metal will not crack. The solderability of properties is the impact toughness of the weld and the ductility of the heat-affected zone. It is required that the mechanical properties of steel in the welding and heat affected zone are not lower than the base metal. Our country adopts the welding performance test method of welding process, also adopts the welding performance test method of using performance.

There is also a factor that affects the durability of steel structures. First of all, the corrosion resistance of steel is poor, so protective measures must be taken to prevent corrosion and rust of steel.
