Description

A truss is a structure composed of several rods connected by hinges at both ends of each rod, which can be divided into plane truss and space truss. According to the section form of the component parts, it can be divided into pipe truss, H-beam truss, box-section truss, angle steel truss, etc. Trusses are generally composed of upper chords, lower chords, vertical rods, inclined web rods, and inter-truss supports. The truss uses less steel than the solid web beam, the structure has a lighter weight, and has a higher rigidity. It is widely used in high-rise buildings, long-span structures and bridges.
